Water Safety Newsletter

 Good morning, Community Partners,

Summer has just ended but that doesn't mean fun around the water stops. As fall break approaches, children will be home and may be around the water more often than before. Make sure to inform families that water safety is all season long, and not just in the summer months.

In this newsletter, we have shared some tips provided by the American Academy of Pediatrics Drowning Prevention Report. Please encourage families to follow these prevention strategies as multi-layered prevention is crucial. Families can receive further information by attending one of our Playing it Safe classes held at the hospital or at your community agency. Scheduling for next year is open now!

We also wanted to share that we are looking to hold our Second Annual Community Partner Luncheon in 2027. There is a QR code in the newsletter providing information on possible dates and times. If you are interested in attending, please fill out that form!

We appreciate all the work that you do advocating for water safety within our community!

Feel free to share water safety reminders with your community members! Please note that our newsletter and program updates are designed specifically to keep our professional partners up to date on our latest initiatives.
